WSOP Updates - Event #10, $2,000 No Limit Hold 'Em - Justin Bonomo Rides High
Thursday's action in Event #10 ($2,000 No Limit Hold'em drew plenty of attention from the rail early on, as Phil Hellmuth secured his record-extending 58th WSOP cash, and Justin 'ZeeJustin' Bonomo opened up a huge lead at the end of the second day's play, putting Bonomo in a commanding position to secure his first WSOP bracelet when play resumes on Friday.
Hellmuth's run ended early at the hands of Partho 'Spiderman' Data. Spiderman eliminated Hellmuth by turning a wheel with ace-high after moving all-in following a 4?3?2? flop. Hellmuth made the call with pocket nines after a deliberation so lengthy another player called a clock on him. When the turn five hit, Hellmuth's day was over.
Two women making strong showings on Day One faded but still cashed; Clonie Gowen finished 64th while Hawbaker exited in 55th. They earned $6,966 and $8,539 respectively. Twins Aaron and Derek Lerner also cashed, but both exited on Day Two as well, Derek after tangling with Day One leader Shaun Deeb. Aaron managed to go a bit deeper, busting in 28th place after losing to Bonomo. You can see video interview with Aaron, in which Derek makes a very brief guest appearance in our Video Gallery.
The big story of Day Two was Bonomo's surge. Nearly busted once by Spiderman and left with 120,000 chips, Bonomo went on a monstrous run that saw him break the million chip-mark within hours. Data eventually busted in tenth, the final-table bubble boy, but all the survivors were left to look up at Bonomo and his dominating chip stack. Here's how the final table shapes up:

Seat 1: Gil George 365,000
Seat 2: Ronnie Hofman 297,000
Seat 3: Walter Browne 302,000
