Caesars Palace Classic Begins October 16th
The Caesars Palace Classic, among several poker tournament series this fall at one of Las Vegas's most popular poker destinations, will begin on October 16th with a day of satellite qualifers. Actual event play begins on the following day, Friday, October 17th, and the series includes 16 events over its 14-day run, including the three-day, series-ending Classic Championship that carries a $1 million prize pool guarantee.
That NLHE event carries a $10,000 buy-in and is likely to draw many of Vegas's biggest poker names, while the other 15 events offer more affordable buy-ins ranging from $340 (the October 26th ladies event), to a $2,080 NLHE tourney on October 22nd. 11 of the 16 events are NLHE format, with the other four including fixed-limit and pot-limit hold'em events, a PLO tournament and one Omaha 8-or-better event, and one H.O.R.S.E. event.
