Don't Miss the Seneca Niagara Summer Slam Starting Today
The Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel Summer Slam series kicks off today in Niagara Falls, NY. PokerNews will be providing live coverage of several events at the stop, culminating with the $100,000 guaranteed Main Event. The seven-event series will run starting today through August 3.
The first event of the Summer Slam is the $200 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo Deepstack at 11 a.m., and the PokerNews Live Reporting team will be there.
The $100,000 guaranteed Main Event garners a buy-in of $600 and will take place from August 1-3. Last year, Buffalo native Andy Spears took down the Summer Slam Main Event for $23,000, and it is anticipated that Spears is back in the mix this year following a summer that saw him cash in three World Series of Poker events.
Also playing is Jonathan Dimmig, winner of the WSOP's Millionaire Maker for $1.3 million. Dimmig sat down with PokerNews recently to talk about his return home and his big score in Las Vegas.
