Tom McEvoy's WSOP Main Event Bracelet for Sale
Tom McEvoy, 1983 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, has listed his bracelet from that event for sale on eBay, as reported by PocketFives. McEvoy confirmed to PokerNews that he created the listing and is looking to part with the bracelet for the right price.
For $13,500, a prospective buyer can secure the following items:
- 1983 WSOP Main Event bracelet featuring 12 diamonds
- Three of McEvoy's books, autographed and dedicated upon request
- Two PokerStars Team Pro patches
- WSOP collectible baseball on brass stand
- PokerStars 2006 WSOP team baseball in clear box
- One hour of private poker lessons with McEvoy
The listing expires Jan. 18 at around 10:20 a.m. local time in Las Vegas, with "free local pickup" listed as the only available method of acquisition. McEvoy told PokerNews he has already been contacted by interested buyers. At the time of writing, the eBay posting had seven "watching" and 35 inquiries.
McEvoy has tournament cashes dating to 1982 that total just over $3 million. He won the 1983 WSOP Main Event for $540,000, which remains his best tournament cash to date. He also has three other WSOP bracelets and a slew of other WSOP final tables, although he has not logged more than $100,000 in tournament cashes in a calendar year since 2005. McEvoy made the money in the 2016 WSOP Main Event, finishing 644th for $18,714. He was also formerly a member of PokerStars Team Pro. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2013.
