Ingram, Chidwick & Kerstetter Among 2nd Annual Global Poker Award Winners

On Friday, March 6, the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas played host to the second annual Global Poker Awards. The ceremony, which was hosted by Maria Ho and Drea Renee, recognized players, media and industry professionals for their accomplishments in 2019.
Poker Hall of Famer Johnny Chan was honored with the inaugural Poker ICON award, while "Miami" John Cernuto, became the second recipient of the Hendon Mob Award.

Repeat Winners
The awards kicked off with Kristen Bicknell claiming the GPI Female Player of the Year award for the third year in a row, while her significant other Alex Foxen took GPI POY for the second straight year.
The power couple wasn��t the only back-to-back winners. Lex Veldhuis and Andrew Neeme both won again for ��Streamer of the Year�� and ��Vlogger of the Year�� respectively, while the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) claimed ��Mid-Major Tour/Circuit of the Year�� after doing so in 2018.
Finally, poker photographer Drew Amato was victorious for ��Photo of the Year�� to claim an award for the second year in a row.
Joey Ingram Claims Two Awards
The Mike Postle scandal was arguably the story of the year, and it is the coverage of which that has helped net Joey Ingram four nominations in the Global Poker Awards. His ��Investigating Mike Postle Hand Histories from Stones Live�� won for Media Content: Video, and he also claimed the award for Journalist of the Year
