Matt "RubberFist" Stout Wins Fourth WSOP Circuit Ring During Online Super Circuit Series

As a response to the changes to Atlantic City and LA/Las Vegas stops, WSOP.com has put together an 18-ring event online series for those inside the borders of Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware. The WSOP.com Online Super Circuit Series kicked off on March 14 and will run through March 31, with 18 official gold ring events, other nightly tournaments, and more than $1,000,000 in prize pool guarantees. The 18 events count for the Global Casino Championship leaderboard points standings, with the Main Event champion and Casino Champion from these events earning automatic qualification.
The second tournament on the schedule �� Event #2: $50,000 GTD NLH Monster Stack 2x Re-entry �� featured a $215 buy-in and easily eclipsed the guarantee. With a final count of 720 registered players and 221 rebuys, the 941-entry tournament offered a total prize pool of $188,200 that was paid out amongst the top 150 players with a min-cash starting at $301.
When all was done, Matt ��RubberFist�� Stout stood tall and was awarded the $43,286 first-place prize and a WSOP Circuit ring. Also at the final table were well-known poker pros James "Meatsweats" Carroll and Daniel "pepperprince" Zack.

With a final table featuring over 9 million in live tournament earnings, this event was going to come down to the wire. Dan Zack finished 8th, adding to his impressive $1M Hendon Mob results. With three left, Matt Stout (4.2M in live earnings) needed to get through "tdkaces" and James Carroll (4.3M in live earnings). Stout was able to outlast his opponents and take home his fourth WSOP Circuit Ring.
Big names in the field that fell short of the final table included Jed "jchak" Hoffman (22nd place - $752), Joe "swansong79" Kuether (35th place - $545), Jim "ZingZang" Petzing (87th place - $357), Ryan "protential" Laplante (95th place - $357) and Jamie "danbilzerian" Kerstetter (116th place - $319).

The next event on the WSOP.com Online Super Circuit Series schedule is Event #3: $50,000 GTD NLH Deep Turbo 2x Re-entry on Sunday at 2 p.m. PST. Tuesday will feature the first $1,000 buy-in High Roller of the series.
