Poker Site Launched Way Back in 2008 Names Their First-Ever Brand Ambassador
ClubWPT has been around since 2008, but in all that time they’ve never had an official ambassador. That changed this week when it was announced that Josh Guindon (pictured above), an ER doctor from Bedford, Massachusetts, was the first brand ambassador.
Guindon’s accomplishments from playing on ClubWPT helped propel him to his sponsorship deal, which will include him representing the subscription-based company at WPT events throughout 2025. He’s made deep runs in all four of his first WPT Championship events, which included making the final table of last December’s historic ClubWPT Gold $5 Million Freeroll. Guindon not only finished seventh for $30,000, he also pulled a $100,000 mystery bounty.

According to a press release, Guindon signed up for ClubWPT after watching an episode of the WPT on TV. Right away, he navigated a 1,100-player field to win a VIP package to the 2022 WPT Venetian Championship where he finished in 48th place for $19,700. He followed that up by finishing 11th in the WPT Voyage Championship for $24,000 and 18th in the 2024 WPT bestbet Jacksonville for $16,800.
