Ken Baime is an American poker player from Illinois and a two-time Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) champion.
In 2014, Baime took down the MSPT Gary $1,000 Main Event for $77,681 to win his first MSPT title. Eight years later, Baime followed that victory with a win in the 2022 MSPT US Poker Championship at Sycuan Casino in San Diego, bringing him $82,512 and a second title.
Baime dedicated that second victory to his wife, who he said "didn��t know what she was getting into when we got married."
"I do feel like I played with a lot more confidence," Baime told PokerNews after the victory. "I had a pretty good summer and I have a lot of confidence in my reads.��
In addition to his two titles, Baime has made five MSPT Main Event final tables, including a runner-up finish in the 2019 MSPT Majestic Star $1,000 Main Event for $44,415, and has a total of 14 MSPT Main Event cashes under his belt.
Baime has also found success at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). In 2018, he finished seventh in the WSOPC Cherokee $1,700 Main Event to take home $49,190. At the 2022 WSOP, Baime made a deep run in the $10,000 Main Event and fell in 46th place for $176,200, his biggest live cash to date.
