820 Players Return at Noon for Day 2 of Event #13: $400 Almighty Stack at the 2020 BWPO
Day 2 of Event #14: $400 Almighty Stack continues at noon local time here at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa with 820 players out of 3,359 entries returning to the table to battle it out for their share of the more than $1,100,000 prize pool. The full prize pool details are to be announced.
A surprising overall chip leader has popped up when PokerNews received the chip counts and seat draw. John Hatalovsky bagged 2,000,000 exactly on Day 1a according to the 2020 Borgata Winter Poker Open organization and will be taking his seat on Table 46. He is followed by the Day 1c chip leader, Yefim Vakser with 1,587,000. Third in the chip counts is Olamide Otti who brings 1,560,000 into Day 2.
Brent Hart who bagged 1,758,000 on Day 1d as the chip leader is in the counts now with 1,078,000. Day 1b chip leader Alex Visbisky comes back into Day 2 with 989,000 in chips. Other notable stacks above the 1,000,000-mark include Christine Kim, Nikolay Volper, and Joseph Iannacone.
Also, through to Day 2 are the BorgataPoker.com players Daniel Buzgon and Katie Stone. They��re accompanied by players like Maurice Hawkins, Alex Rocha, Joseph Couden, Ryan Tamanini, Raul Martinez, Stanley Lee, David Jackson, Aaron Massey, Soukha Kachittavong, David Pham, Daniel Park, Erik Cajelais, Craig Varnell, Men Nguyen, and many many more familiar players.
When the players return, Level 18 will be the first level of the day which features a small blind of 6,000, big blind of 12,000, and a big blind ante of 12,000. Level duration will be increased to 45 minutes each and a 15-minute break is expected to take place after every three levels. Play is scheduled to continue until there are two tables left but as always, anything is subject to change.
