Event #23: $300 Big Wednesday NLH drew a massive total of 811 creating a prize pool of over $200,000.
The day saw plenty of big-name pros fall by the wayside including Tony Dunst, Vinny Pahuja, Yaser Al-Keliddar, Timothy Finne and Soukha Kachittavong.
It was a long night of tournament poker that extended into the early morning hours and with the clock about to strike 8:00 a.m. our newest BWPO Champion was finally crowned.
Jean "Prince" Gaspard was the last man standing after an epic heads up battle with Nikolaos Platis that lasted nearly two hours. Gaspard earned $47,042 and his fourth Borgata Poker Open trophy.
"He was a really good player, a tough player and also a very polite kid, I enjoyed playing against him," Gaspard said as he posed for his winner's photo.
