When we walked up, the board showed
, and there was a big pile of chips already heaped in the middle of the table. Thomas Kremser was addressing Catherine Hong and making a ruling.Kremser told her that if Alain Taieb checked, her all-in declaration would be binding. If he bet, she would have all of her options back. From this, we can gather that Hong shoved out of turn when she thought Taieb checked.
The ruling was made, and Taieb seemed fine with it. Despite that, he felt the need to sit there and berate Hong in French for several agonizing minutes. He looked downright angry, and the floor staff was keeping a close eye on him. Finally, he checked, Hong pushed her chips forward again, and, after another minute or so of yelling, Taieb called all in for his final 123,500.

Taieb puffed his chest out to gloat over his unbeatable flush. A meaningless
filled out the board, and Hong has doubled up her opponent and dropped to 56,000. And she got a nice long lecture in French for her troubles.Two floor members spoke at length with Taieb after the hand, telling him to calm down and mind his behavior. It looks like Kremser issued him a warning, but no penalty just yet.
