A Day to Forget for Nguyen
Level 5
: 200/400, 400 ante
Thi Xoa Nguyen, who finished 14th in the 2016 EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event for 47,980, was spotted on the way out of the tournament area and confirmed that she had been eliminated. "It was a day to forget. I had ace-king several times but always had to fold on the river when a flush came. I will most likely play again tomorrow," Nguyen mentioned. Thanks to the single re-entry option, she can have another shot at EPT glory in either Day 1a, Day 1b or before the start of Day 2.
Juan Pardo will also have to do so after joining the rail recently, along with Dimitri Huley and Mete Ustuay.
