The action is starting to wind down at the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris but there is still plenty of money up for grabs over the next couple of days. There will be just 22 players returning to their seats for the third and final day of the 3,000 EPT Mystery Bounty. The lion's share of the 1,328,456 prize pool is still available along with a 75,000 bounty still waiting to be drawn.
Leading the way into Day 3 is Martin Stausholm who will be returning to a stack of 2,440,000, good enough for over 60 big blinds. Stausholm will have his nose ahead of the rest of the field when it comes to plucking that all-exclusive top bounty prize out of the treasure chest. Gerard Cortes is the only other player with at least 50 big blinds as he will stack up 2,000,000 chips. Rounding out the top three stacks is Jan Bednar sitting with 1,965,000 chips.
Another name to keep an eye on is PokerStars ambassador and content creator Lex Veldhuis. Despite not winning a single bounty chip as of yet, Veldhuis has maneuvered his way through the tournament en route to a Day 3 finish. Veldhuis will be returning with a stack of 530,000 but has some work to do if he wishes to snag a bounty or ladder up the leaderboard.
The cards will be slated to go back in the air at 12 p.m. noon local time with the blinds resuming on level 25 at 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 big blind ante. The levels will continue at 40 minutes in length until just three players remain where they will be cut in half. There is no dinner break scheduled for today but that could change based on the pace of play.
Some players have not redeemed any or all of their bounty chips as of yet but will have to do so before the tournament finishes. Here is a look at the remaining bounty prizes still available in the treasure chest:
