Rafael Navas raised to 400 over an early position limp, to be met with a three-bet to 1,800 from Richard Birchall in the small blind. The limper got out of the way, and Navas called.
Birchall continued with a bet of 1,100 on the Q?4?4? flop, and Navas pumped it up to 3,000 in response. After some thought Birchall called.
The 7? turn was checked through. The 8? river completed the board, and Birchall checked once more. Navas fired out a bet of 6,000, and Birchall took a couple of minutes before folding, seemingly reluctantly.
