Several players have been eliminated in quick succession and among them were Johnny Lodden, Andrej Desset and Majid Ejlal Noubarian. The latter got into a big pot with Robert Cowen and faced a bet of 1.7 million on the river of a board 
. Ejlal Noubarian called all in for slightly less and Cowen called instantly to turn over 
for a full house, kings over eights.

for the nut flush and Cowen immediately apologized. "Sorry that this happened to you," the Welshman said. With a stack of nearly 6.0 million, Cowen is among the contenders for a top spot after Day 1d.
