Welcome to the final day of the €300,000 guaranteed 2017 partypoker LIVE Grand Prix Main Event at Ireland’s National Event Centre (INEC) and Gleneagle Hotel.
From 905 entries across numerous live and online Day 1s there are now just 26 players left. They are set to play down to a winner who will be crowned 2017 Grand Prix Champion and walk away with a mega €50,000 payday.
Thomas Gallagher will begin the day as the chip leader and the only player over the 2 million-chip mark but the chasing pack is not far behind.
There are also several Golden Chip holders left in the field to look out for. Any player with a Golden Chip who makes the final table is set to receive an amazing Caribbean Poker Party package worth $10,000.
There will also be a live stream with commentary from Jesse May and special guests which will begin following the second break of the day.
The Main Event will be the focus today at the INEC but there is a whole lot more going on. Day 2 of the High Roller kicks off at 2 p.m., the Irish Ladies Championship begins at 3 p.m., and partypoker Ambassador Padraig Parkinson’s Charity event on behalf of the homeless and Pieta House is at 4 p.m.
Shuffle up and deal is at 12 p.m. and as always the PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand to bring you all the action as the 2017 partypoker LIVE Grand Prix Killarney draws to a close.
