Welcome to Day 1a of the PokerNews Cup Main Event in Rozvadov


The PokerNews Cup festival at the King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, kicked off yesterday August 10th and the �80 Opening Event drew a total of 111 entries and 64 reentries. The first 17 spots shared a portion of the �11,638 prize pool and Germany's Jimmy emerged victorious, taking home �2,928 for his efforts.
In 90 minutes from now at 7 p.m. local time, the highlight of the event series gets underway with Day 1a of the �225+�25 Main Event. There are a total of four starting days with each of them offering the participants the chance to reenter in order to take a shot at the guaranteed prize pool of �200,000. All players receive 30,000 in chips and the levels last 30 minutes each on Day 1, 45 minutes on Day 2 and then increase to 60 minutes each for the final day.
Plenty of players from near and far are expected and some of them are already in the �35+�5 Satellite that guarantees 10 seats for the Main Event, which kicked off at 5 p.m. local time.
