Rhee Wins From Falcon
Michael Falcon was flying high, at least before the following hand, but has now dropped back down to below starting stack with Korea’s Yo Seb Rhee the beneficiary.
Rhee limped from under-the-gun and Falcon made it 450 to go from middle position picking up two customers with the button and Rhee making the call.
The flop fell a monochrome and Rhee checked it over to Falcon, who continuation bet 1,100. While this was enough to get the button to bow out Rhee made the call to take play heads-up to the turn.
This saw both players check and the hit the river to bring in four to a flush. Rhee checked it over to Falcon once more and the Danish player reached for chips and splashed out a bet of 2,500.
This sent Rhee deep into the tank, where he remained until there were just 3 seconds left on the shot clock before he slid out the call.
Falcon turned over for ace-high no diamonds, meaning Rhee’s was enough to win the Korean a decent sized pot.
