Final Table Action
The final table kicked off when "POJvsPOTT" was eliminated after running ace-three into "Rickwon574" who held a bigger ace. "PerppaPig" then became the first official final table casualty after "Rickwon574" hit trip aces against their pocket-tens.
"MartinChatwn" would be eliminated shortly afterwards in a preflop confrantation with ten-nine suited against the ace-king of "Varncass". Not long after, "wadlow24" would also hit the rail at the hands of "Varncass" after failing to win a flip with ace-king against pocket-queens.
"lufy_boy" would be next to fall after running ace-six offsuit into the pocket-jacks of "xBlackout16". It would be "xBlackout16" who was next eliminated in 5th after a long stretch of five-handed play. "xBlackout16" made a move at the wrong time with pocket-sevens, running into "Varncass" who held pocket-kings resulting in their elimination.
"PhuneeeMuneee" did a good job nursing a short-stack for much of the final table but would finally be eliminated at the hands of "Almadryk" after running pocket-jacks into pocket-queens.
The three remaining players exchanged the chip lead a few times before "Almadryk" would lose most of their stack against "Rockwon574" who had turned a flush. Shortly afterwards "Almadryk" would lose the rest of their chips to "Rickwon574" to mark the beginning of heads-up play.
Heads-up play was a short affair. "Rickwon574" held roughly a 2-1 chip advantage and despite getting the money in against "Varncass" with a queen-eight versus queen-king they would manage to hit the eight in the last hand of the tournament to take down the second championship event of the series.
