The RunGood Poker Series is once more making its trek to Downstream Casino and Resort, just outside of Joplin, Missouri. Over the past week, a full series of events was run at the casino including a Pot-Limit Omaha Event, A Guest Ambassadors Bounty, and a multi day Deepstack Event that had a $25,000 prize pool guarantee. Today begins the first flight of the $600 RunGood Main Event which boasts a $100,000 prize pool guarantee.
Last years iteration of the event saw a massive 794 entrants come out to play over the course of three starting flights, creating a prize pool worth $412,880. After the dust settled it was Scott Brandau who became the last man standing after beating Dustin Hill heads up. Brandau took down a career best score of $72,260 and his first RGPS Main Event win.
