Herboth Holds to Double Up

Level 13
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mike Fouts opened the action with a raise to 13,000 from the hijack, and was called by the small blind Jeffrey Copeland. Then the big blind Joseph Herboth three-bet all in for his stack of 112,000. Fouts made the call and Copeland got out of the way to leave the players heads up, with Herboth at risk.
Joseph Herboth: J?J?
Mike Fouts: 2?2?
Herboth was in a great position to double up with the bigger pocket pair. Once the board ran out 10?7?9?9?A? he did just that as his pocket jacks were still best to secure the double up.
