On the eve of the RunGood Poker Series at the Hard Rock Tulsa, RunGood Events presents the inaugural Poker Industry Championship to celebrate the behind-the-scenes individuals who make poker happen. The $330 Poker Industry Championship will get underway at noon local time. The event is a "ring" event, with the winner receiving a custom championship ring by Signature rings. Notably, the buy-in will have no house rake with $30 going straight to the dealers.
According to the RunGood Events page, "Lots of goodies will be given out along with live reporting by PokerNews.com to capture the industry’s next champion."
To enter, players must provide a valid gaming license or media credentials at registration. Players will start with 15,000 chips and levels will last thirty minutes each. Late registration and unlimited re-entry are open until the start of Level 9 (approximately 4:30 p.m.). A full structure sheet is available here.
You can catch all the updates and photos for the event here on PokerNews. The action begins at noon today.
