It took five levels for Nitsche to win, scooping the last pot with ace-nice against ace-three for Drinan who was left short until that moment. "Grindation" was the first player to win his way to the next round and after Nitsche, "CatLover666" and "fetopoker1" followed.
In the semifinals, "CatLover666" had to confront Nitsche and "Grindation" was against "fetopoker1". In just the second level of this round, "Grindation" eliminated his opponent and became the first player to reach the final heads-up. On the last hand, "Grindation" shoved with six-five suited and was against sevens from short-stacked "fetopoker1", with two sixes on the board sealing the deal for him. On the other hand, "CatLover666" and Nitsche had a tough battle that lasted for seven 12-minute levels. The lead changed hands many times between them and finally Nitsche was left short and limp-called a shove with king-ten against ace-eight. The board didn't change anything and "CatLover666" was on the final.
Noone could expect the final heads-up to end so quickly, since there were just 12 hands needed for the affair to finish. The two players didn't play any big pots in the first eleven hands and they had almost equal stacks, before Hand No. 12 changed everything. "CatLover666" found a full house on a board with two pairs and lead-shoved with "Grindation" calling with an overpair after many seconds in the tank.
