Citrone Accidentally Calls Gray's All-In
Ashley Locker opened to 700 and got a call from Jonathan Hanley in the next seat before Stephen Gray shipped from the button for 13,600. Carlo Citrone hadn't seen the shove of Gray and put in a chip while saying 'call', but then realized there was an all-in that he didn't mean to call.
The floor were called to give a ruling and because Citrone had announced a call, he was committed to that decision. Locker and Hanley folded.
Stephen Gray: A?Q?
Carlo Citrone: 10?8?
Citrone wasn't in as bad shape as he may have thought, but the 5?K?4? flop helped Gray as he picked up a flush draw. However, the 6? turn gave Citrone a flush draw of his own as well as a gutshot straight draw. The 9? river missed everybody, which meant Gray's ace-high held up, and he doubled to almost starting stack, while Citrone's stack entered the danger zone.
