Winamax SISMIX Marrakech Day 1a Kicks Off at 12 p.m.
With the poker action on and off-the-felt fun already in full force as of yesterday, the Winamax SISMIX poker festival at the Casino de Marrakech in the Es Saadi Resort, continues today with Day 1a of the 5,500 MAD Main Event, starting at 12 p.m. local time.
In 2023, the Winamax SISMIX Main Event attracted a huge field of 1,900 entries; an impressive comeback for the first Winamax tournament on Moroccan soil since 2018. It was Issam Benhaddou who bested this monstrous field to be crowned the winner, claiming both the title and the 37,500 MAD (�86,250) first-place prize

But it��s not just poker that the players can sink their teeth into; for the remainder of the week, Winamax is hosting an abundance of side activities for attendees including Pingthalon, Beer Pong, VIP cocktails with special guests, a couscous evening and more.
Today��s schedule boasts a Pool Party from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. accompanied by DJ Psyone, as well as host Fred Musa recording Skyrocks��s DJ Plan��te Rap between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. The infamous Winamax Pingthalon will off at 8 p.m. keeping the drinks flowing until the night��s party at Club Theatero, which will close out the night, starting from 11:30 p.m.
Those participating in the main event on Days 1a, b and c will play through levels of 30 minutes, while those participating in the turbo flights on Days 1d will play through levels of 15 minutes. Those lucky enough to advance to Day 2 and Day 3 will benefit from a clock of 35 minutes and 40 minutes respectively. Each Day 1 will conclude when the bubble bursts and the money is reached.
