At 4 p.m. local time, cards will be in the air for the final day of the WSOPC Rotterdam €3,500 High Roller. It's the first the WSOP Circuit makes a stop in The Netherlands, and a coveted WSOP Circuit Rings will be up for grabs in this event. 21 out of 59 players survived the first day, with Dutch TV Host and poker aficionado Alberto Stegeman in the lead with 180,400 in chips.
Dutch high-stakes regulars Govert Metaal (141,900) and Tobias Peters (126,200) are in second and fourth, respectively, after the first starting day. Both players have set their sights on the WSOP Circuit Ring and the five-figure first place prize, which will be awarded to the winner at the end of the night. 2016 Master Classics of Poker winner Hakim Zoufri survived the first day with a mere big blind and will try to make a chip and a chair magic work today.
Blinds will start at 1,000/2,000 with a running ante of 300. Late registration will be open up until the start of Day 2, the total prize pool and payouts are expected to be finalized shortly after. PokerNews will be on hand to provide live coverage until the winner of this High Roller is crowned.
