James Pulls it Back to Nearly Even
Level 31
: 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Thomas Alcorn limped in on the button, and Robert James checked in the big blind.
Both players checked the flop, and James checked the turn. Alcorn bet 200,000 and James check-raised to 500,000. Alcorn called.
James checked the river, and Alcorn bet 1,000,000. James, who had just 1.89 million remaining, tanked for a few minutes.
"Like your hand again, eh?" James asked Alcorn, who responded, "I like it for a million."
"I can't fold this heads-up, I'm sorry," James said before calling. Alcorn tabled for top two pair, but James held for trip threes and the winner.
