Georgiou Puts Pincombe to the Test
Level 7
: 300/500, 500 ante
The action leading up to the situation at table 16 is unclear, but Greg Pincombe had an 11,000 bet in front of him from the big blind blind. Bob Georgiou, in the hijack, had the all-in button in front of him, with about 47,000 chips behind.
Pincombe anguished over the decision, as a call would have required a commitment of all of his chips.
"I only have 54 big blinds behind," said Pincombe, clearly not loving this particular spot. After several minutes, Pincombe folded, and Georgiou now sits on double the starting stack.
