Third Flight of 2024 WSOPC Playground Main Event Starts at 11 a.m.
Today marks the third day of Event #8: $1,700 No Limit Holdem Main Event, which is the eighth out of 15 WSOP-C ring events. The 2024 World Series of Poker Circuit Playground is currently taking place and they will look to crown the Circuit Main Event Champion, a title that hasn't been claimed since Joe Pellegrino won the event back in 2019, earning a substantial $300,000.
The player holding the highest number of chips after the first two flights of the main event is Rami Hammoud, with a total of 953,000. Other players are also close behind, and the third flight will likely bring in some tough competition looking to take the lead. This year, the World Series of Poker is offering a massive guarantee of $1,500,000 for the Main Event, along with a Gold Circuit ring and an invitation to the 2024 Tournament of Champions for the winner.
Today, some of the best poker players in Canada will gather at Playground to participate in Day 1c of the Main Event, which commences at 11:00 a.m. local time. One more starting flight will take place on Saturday, April 20, also at 11:00 a.m. Subsequently, Day 2 will be held on Sunday, April 21, at 11:00 a.m., followed by Day 3 on Monday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m.
