Keiner Prefers the Exotic Events
Keiner said he prefers the exotic events like Seven Stud, Stud Hi-Lo, Omaha Hi-Lo, and Razz because he feels that the smaller buy-in hold'em events have become more of a crap shoot this year.
Keiner also explained that his bracelet win helped silence some of his critics back in Germany, as he had faced a lot of pressure from the poker community for being one of the first German players to earn sponsorship when the country began its poker boom. He has put up some impressive tournament results over the past 10 years, but none as career defining has his victory at this year's WSOP.
Keiner currently has 7,400 chips and is sitting at table 128 with Gavin Smith and Frankie O'Dell.
