DeGeorge Falls to Shaw

We picked up the action on a flop when Joe DeGeorge checked from under the gun and Christopher Shaw bet 105,000 from middle position. DeGeorge responded by check-raising to 260,000, but that opened the door for Shaw to move all in. DeGeorge called off for 610,000 total and discovered the bad news.

DeGeorge flopped top pair, but it was still behind the pocket jacks of Shaw. DeGeorge got lucky though when the appeared on the turn, which threw Shaw into a bit of a tantrum. He uttered a few expletives, wondered aloud how such a thing could happen, and didn't even notice the
complete the board on the river.
Someone then informed Shaw that he won with a better two pair, which obviously turned his attitude around. On the other hand, DeGeorge was counterfeited and saw his 2014 WSOP Main Event come to an end.
