On a board that read , Robert Lipkin decided to make a unique play.
He said "I would like to bet everything but this" and held up a 1k chip. His opponent, Charles Barton who was facing the bet, was confused by Lipkin's play and by the fact that he moved a 100k stack into the middle as he said announced his bet.
A discussion ensued at the table and eventually the floor was called to make a ruling. The floor determine that it was a valid bet, all in with 1k behind.
Barton had Lipkin covered and raised all in to force Lipkin to toss in his remaining 1K, which he did.
Lipkin showed the winner as he had the which bested the of Barton, as discussion continued about the bet made by Lipkin.
