Event #46: $5,000 No-Limit Holdem 6-Handed Starts Today

Welcome to Day 1 of Event #46: $5,000 No-Limit Holdem 6-Handed at the 2022 World Series of Poker. The event will be kicking off at 3:00 p.m. PT today at Ballys and Paris Las Vegas.
The reigning champion for this event is Scott Ball who defeated a field of 604 entries to make it out on top to receive the first place prize of $562,667 and his first gold WSOP bracelet. After a long heads-up battle last year that saw Ball behind in chips 2-1 against Galen Hall, he eventually regained the chip lead and solidified his victory by hitting a nut flush draw against Halls second nut flush.
Players will begin this four-day event with a starting stack of 50,000 chips and blinds at 100/200/200. They will play 60-minute levels with a 15-minute break every 2 levels before calling it a day to bag their chips after Level 10. Late registration is open until the start of Day 2, Wednesday, June 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. PT.
