Smyth Triples and Then Some

Peter Smyth, who was recently moved off the feature table along with his tablemates Rainer Kempe and Maria Ho, just added quite a few chips to his stack.
The first hand, he was part of a multi-way pot which found him all in for 131,000. Michal Mrakes called, but Marc MacDonnell raised all in causing Mrakes to fold.

The board ran out and Smyth tripled up.
"What are these!?" he said as he brought in his newly found chips.
"What am I supposed to do with these?"
The next hand, the action folded to Smyth in the small blind.
"I haven't had a walk in three days," he told Maria Ho who was in the big blind.
He raised.
"I'm going to make it twenty-three," he said betting 23,000.
Ho called and the flop came .
Smyth announced a continuation bet of 34,000.
Ho folded and Smyth added a few more chips to his growing stack.
